Hypoluxo residents,

Greetings.   It is my pleasure to keep you informed as to what is happening here in the Town of Hypoluxo, your town.  The elected officials and Town staff are dedicated to keeping Hypoluxo a town of which you can be proud.  Your input and suggestions are always welcomed.  Please participate in your Town government by attending the monthly Council meetings scheduled on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM.  

Hypoluxo will have an election on Tuesday, March 9, 2027, to elect the Mayor of the Town and two Town Councilmembers for three-year terms.  Any resident interested in seeking election for these offices must qualify as a candidate through the Town Clerk during the filing period, noon Tuesday, December 1, 2026 through noon, Wednesday, December 9, 2026.

The Palm Beach County Library System will be building a new branch library at 7200 S. Federal Highway in the Town of Hypoluxo.  The projected opening of the new Hypoluxo branch library is in mid to late 2027.  Hypoluxo will be fortunate to have the Library System have a branch in our Town.  The facility will be centrally located with easy access to all residents of Hypoluxo.  Along with our beautiful parks, the library will be another jewel for the Town of Hypoluxo.

The windows and doors in Town Hall have been replaced with hurricane impact windows and doors.  And the manual generator switch for emergency power was replaced with an automatic generator switch.  These projects were funded with grant monies.

The interior of Town Hall is in need of some upgrading.  This is a project we hope to start next fiscal year and we will seek any funding opportunities to fund this remodeling.
